NASCAR Nextel

Up early to miss the traffic, Bradley and I get sunscreened up and head out to the Track again for the Nextel Cup race. With some good action at the end of the race the day before, Burton spinning Kyle Busch at the finish line, we were looking forward to a great day of racing.

As you can tell we had some great seats, just out of turn 4 at the entrance too pit lane.

You got to love the jets overhead just after the public prayer and the singing of the 'National Anthem'. 'AMERICANA at its finest' as Colonel would say.

Bradley and I were thinking that across the way over there, on the back side of the track, is where Pops needs to park his fifth wheel next race so we can sit on top and be real REDNECKS!

Bradley and I had our In-car headsets on all weekend, which was real cool, except for all of the F bombs Tony Sterwart was dropping!!!

A one two finish for Hendrick Motor Sports and me and Bradley. Jimmy Johnson got first with Jeff Gordon right behind.
